This page explains what data Forsova Orbid collects, why it is collected, how it is used, when it may be shared, how long it may be kept, and the main measures used to help protect sensitive information.
Who we are
Forsova Orbid is a product operated by Forsova (FZE). Forsova Orbid is designed to help Freelancer.com users review projects, filter weaker opportunities, connect their Freelancer.com account, and prepare bids faster through Telegram and related web tools. Forsova Orbid is an independent tool. It is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Freelancer.com. Freelancer.com is a trademark of its respective owner.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use Forsova Orbid, we may collect and process the following categories of data:
- Telegram account data, including your Telegram chat ID, first name, and last name used to identify your account and operate Telegram-linked features.
- Freelancer.com account connection data, including your Freelancer.com user ID and connected-account access and refresh tokens needed to connect your Freelancer.com account to Forsova Orbid.
- Profile and settings data, including your filtering settings, selected tags, excluded keywords, excluded countries, languages, project duration preferences, profile display name, profile description, hourly rate, and related account-linked preferences used to personalize Forsova Orbid features.
- Project interaction data, including opened projects, ignored projects, filter outcomes, reasons for filtering or skipping, daily project review statistics, and related activity history generated through your use of Forsova Orbid.
- Bid and workflow data, including bid templates you save and temporary AI-generated bid or summary content generated during use of the service.
- Payment and subscription data, including your entered email address, selected plan, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, Stripe price ID, invoice or payment status, amount, currency, billing period, trial period, cancellation status, and subscription activation records.
- Support and feedback data, including feedback messages, support thread content, and related account-linked communication history if you contact us or use feedback features.
- Session and security-related data, including session information, security and audit records, and certain network-related technical data generated when you access the website or service.
- Legal acceptance records, including records showing when you agreed to the Terms and Privacy & Security documents and which version was accepted.
How we use data
We use personal data to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve Forsova Orbid;
- authenticate users and link access to the correct Telegram account;
- connect your Freelancer account using OAuth-based authorization;
- enable project filtering, AI-assisted summaries, bid generation, saved templates, and related workflow features;
- process subscriptions, verify checkout and webhook events, activate or deactivate access, manage trials and renewals, and maintain billing records;
- send or enable third-party providers to send invoices, receipts, trial reminders, renewal notices, failed-payment notices, support responses, service notices, and other account-related communication;
- monitor abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, misuse, operational issues, and security events;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- maintain records of legal acceptance for account, purchase, and compliance purposes;
When we share data
We may share data only when reasonably necessary to operate Forsova Orbid, including with:
- Telegram, when you sign in with Telegram or use Telegram-based workflows.
- Freelancer.com, when you authorize Forsova Orbid to connect through Freelancer OAuth and use related account-linked functionality.
- Payment and subscription providers, including Stripe, for checkout, subscription management, invoices, receipts, renewals, failed-payment handling, refunds, and payment-related records.
- Third-party AI providers, only to the extent needed to generate AI-assisted summaries, project analysis, warnings, or bid-related content you request. We do not intentionally send Freelancer.com passwords, raw payment card data, or unnecessary sensitive data to AI providers.
- Infrastructure, hosting, storage, logging, email, and security providers that support operation of the service.
- Authorities or counterparties, when required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, property, safety, users, or the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not ask you to enter your Freelancer password directly into Forsova Orbid.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain your account, provide support, maintain security records, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or operational requirements.
Freelancer.com API data is handled with additional care. Project data, profile data, bid-related signals, and other data received through the Freelancer.com API may be cached temporarily only to provide the service, improve performance, avoid repeatedly showing the same projects, and operate user-requested workflow features. Where Freelancer.com API data is cached, we aim to refresh or delete it according to Freelancer.com API requirements, including the requirement that cached data should be refreshed at least every 24 hours where applicable.
We do not use Freelancer.com API data to create a permanent copy of Freelancer.com, sell Freelancer.com data, or provide access to Freelancer.com data outside the intended Orbid workflow.
Some account, subscription, support, legal acceptance, fraud-prevention, security, and payment-related records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
Certain temporary AI-generated workflow content may be stored only temporarily as part of service operation and may not be retained long-term in the same way as account records.
Security
Forsova Orbid uses a layered security approach designed to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, and accidental disclosure. For example:
- Users sign in with Telegram for account-linked access.
- Freelancer account connection uses OAuth-based authorization rather than direct password collection by Forsova Orbid.
- Sensitive connected-account data, including access and refresh tokens, is encrypted at rest.
- Freelancer.com API data is stored and served using security measures designed to protect it from unauthorized access.
- Freelancer.com access and refresh tokens are not intentionally displayed to users, exposed publicly, or logged in plaintext.
- Session protections, access controls, and rate limiting are used on relevant parts of the service.
- Payments and subscription billing are handled through a third-party payment provider such as Stripe rather than processed directly by Forsova Orbid as raw card data.
- Administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to help protect stored data.
If we become aware of a security incident that affects or may affect Freelancer.com users, Freelancer.com-sourced data, or connected Freelancer.com account access, we will take appropriate steps, which may include notifying affected users and/or Freelancer.com where required by applicable rules or agreements.
No method of storage, transmission, or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Forsova Orbid is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to help protect the service and user data, no method of storage, transmission, or online service is completely secure, and we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Forsova (FZE) and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Forsova Orbid, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Forsova (FZE) arising out of or relating to Forsova Orbid, the website, the Telegram bot, connected-account features, payments, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us for the service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal data.
You may also be able to:
- disconnect your Freelancer.com account through Freelancer.com's own account controls where available;
- stop using the Telegram bot or related services at any time;
- contact us to request deletion of your account or relevant personal data, subject to any legal, accounting, security, or operational retention requirements.
Children
Forsova Orbid is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly provide the service for use by children.
Changes to this page
We may update this Privacy & Security page from time to time to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, payment flows, third-party services, security practices, or our business operations.
The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page, unless a different effective date is stated. Your continued access to or use of Forsova Orbid after the updated version becomes effective means you accept the updated Privacy & Security page.
If you do not agree to the updated Privacy & Security page, you must stop using Forsova Orbid and may contact us to request account deletion, subject to any legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute-resolution, or operational retention requirements.
